24 hour Caffeine Crazy Challenge!

Drink up, join in! ;) Fresh Brewed Designs has a fun challenge for the months that have a 5th Wednesday, and it's called the 24 hour caffeine crazy challenge.  The challenge is glitter!  *AND* unlike the other challenges, it is a requirement to use a FBD digi or rubber stamp.  Come on over and play and maybe you'll be a lucky winner!!  :)

For my card, I used lots of Core'dinations glitter cardstock.  So pretty!  And that precious little turtle is a Fresh Brewed Designs digi called Sea Turtle.  I added green glitter and diamond glitter to her shell.  She's also completely covered in dimensional glaze to giver her a nice underwater wet look. :)

I scrapped, at last!

It really has been a very long time since I've done any scrapbooking; however, recently, I finally caught up on getting my photos uploaded and saved, and some even printed!  whew!  I've been a kit club member since I started scrapbooking when my ds was born... LOVE kits!  When I no longer was receiving kits, that's when I stopped scrapbooking.......  I just recently joined Paper Posies, so here I go!  The first two Lo's are using the May kit (plus some misc. items I have in my collection of "stuff"), and the others are from using a past October (I think) kit I ordered on sale from them when I joined.

TFL!  I'm taking a break from card challenges unless I see one that really interests and inspires me, so hopefully you'll be seeing more LO's, less cards- EXCEPT for my dt cards, which I will be spending more time on and putting more effort into as well.  That's the plan anyway.  :)

Of course, I couldn't just make ONE card, so I also created this card to share with you as well. I created it using only the Skinny Minnie Coffee Break and one of the sentiments that goes with it.  (vintage label stamp by A|S).

Here's my card using some awesome tape by Downtown Tape.  It's actually wedding theme tape, but I just used a section that says I love you.  The little "dear coffee..." is a rubber stamp by Fresh Brewed Designs.  My 8 year old ds saw this card and laughed!  Then he said "that's ridiculous".  HAHA.  He just doesn't understand.....   ;)

new challenge at fbd!

May day!  May 1st already!  WOW!  and with a new month, brings a new challenge at Fresh Brewed Designs!  This month is flowers.  Show us your work using flowers.  :)

 

For my card, I used the newly released blossoms and butterflies digi from FBD:

Inspired by a box of tiles I found in my stash, which is, unfortunately, hard to see....... I cropped the image down, colored it, and then added dimensional glaze and a sprinkle of glitter to give it a sparkly tile look.
