Final link up....

My last link up to the Spring/Summer coffee loving papercrafters blog hop.

 I bought the coffee kit from white rose crafts, and it included this super adorable cowfee loving cow stamp set in it by little acres designs. I paired it up with my The Stamps of Life chickens/sun/hey chickie to create this cute little card.

 

fringe dies!

The Stamps of Life just released (it's currently on sale) a fringe die set. It's a set of 2 of different sizes, and they are so easy and fun to use.

I used the dies to cut different patterned paper for a fun layering of paper for this card.  TSOL has that super cute llama2stamp stamp and die set, but did you know that they are now making paper pads for their card kits that sometimes has some of their stamp images printed that fit the dies?  If you don't have the die, no worries, just fussy cut.  However, who wants to do that?  lol!  I used my llama die to cut this guy from PP and I didn't even have to color him.  Quick and easy!  :)

 You can also die cut that strip of fringe and then roll it up to create fun flowers!  I used both sizes with felt for this pretty little flower.  Again, I used the jar2stamp die to cut that printed jar from PP.  So easy!

These poor sea creatures need some perking up. lol!  Shark, Octopus, crab and sayings are from the Rabbit Hole Designs.....

 

The fish and "coral" (actually a succulent) are from The Stamps of Life.

I colored this with colored pencils and gamsol, brushed/dabbed some blue ink for water, and then dug out my old Stampin Up clear embossing glaze.  I only did one layer...  This was a really fun card to make on this lazy, rainy day.

and I paired it up again with one of my The Stamps of Life sets, Island2visit and summer4fun.

I'm having fun making these for my mom friends.  Even with our kids a bit older now, we still remember and relate. lol!

I'm in love with the Rabbit hole designs coffee themed stamps. They are so cute, and funny!  I had to buy them all.  lol! This poor tired bee.  That's how I feel.  I'm slowly trying to make cards for my mom friends...

If you know me, you know I'm on the DT for The Stamps of Life. If you don't know me, now you know. lol!  This card pairs up two stamp companies I love.  The swirls4words stamp set is especially perfect for bees in my opinion.  :)  The hexagon dies are TSOL ,also, and heads up:  ON SALE!  57% off! 

April showers, bring May flowers....

.... don't I know it! It's been raining the last 2 days here in Southern California.  ;)  I can't believe it's May already!  New month means new stamp and die set at The Stamps of Life and that's always fun!! :)

Garden2stamp which is super cute with a fun little watering can, garden tools, flowers, and sayings....

For my sample, I created a tilt card using the new set along with the mini pudgie set, tsol border die set, butterfly2stamps/dies, and bee4me stamps/dies.

I have another card using a saying from the companion set: I'm so excited I wet my plants.  lol!  Stephanie added some extra funny sayings to these garden sets. ;) :) I used the Stephie doll 1 stamp to create this little happy gardening scene. The sun and cloud is from the dies of the hot air balloon set.

The little butterflies are from sayings4butterfly.

Look how cute and fun these little boxes are! 

New to the Stamps of Life, the petal box die set is perfect for little gifts, party favors, ornaments, etc.  Of course, you can use all the non box dies on your cards, scrapbook pages, banners.... 

I made this set to spell out Baby using the Newport Uppercase Alphabet die set.  Wouldn't this be cute at a baby shower with little candies inside?

There's an extra large bow die released today at The Stamps of Life!  (flash sale item today 4/15)
 
 It's definitely a must have in your die collection.  You can make a a bow with the hanging ribbon or without........

Here's a card I created using all the pieces of the xl large bow die set, and it's the focal point of my card.  I also used from The Stamps of Life: stitched rectangle dies, stitched tag die, and the happy birthday is a stamp from train2stamp. Quick, easy birthday card ready to give. 

 There's actually 3 other bow dies at the TSOL, too, for a total of 4 different sizes! Here you can see the difference in sizes.  When comparing, I thought it formed a Christmas tree shape, so ... that is how this card was inspired:  mini bow dies, small bow dies, large bow dies, and extra large bow dies.
I also used stump and star dies from the tree fold it from TSOL, hsn exclusive.

This month's stamp set is Lighthouse2stamp and I just love it!  That released on the 1st, and now there's also a companion set sayings4lighthouse.

I love lighthouses!  They're so beautiful!  When I saw this set, I was so happy!  Here are a few samples I have to share with you:

For this card I created a little scene using the HSN exclusive 5x7 shadow box from The Stamps of Life, along with sailboat2stamp and (grass) tsol border dies.  I colored this with colored pencils and gamsol.  The happy birthday was stamped on vellum and attached to the waves so that it would show up. For added texture, I crinkled my clouds before attaching them.

 The sunburst2stamp set is PERFECT for this set!  I also added some cute whales from whale2stamp.
This was also colored with colored pencils and gamsol. The inside is a stamp from the sayings4lighthouse: gorgeous fonts! I added some of the birds, too.

 and last....... I thought it would make a beautiful bookmark. I used the bookmark die set, and watercolored the background and image. I also masked the sunburst image to only have a few rays shining.
