Dogs...

I love dogs, especially mine.  :)

There are new digis over at Fresh Brewed Designs, one of which is this wonderful dog digi that you can find HERE.  I typed out the dog saying which is a favorite of mine, because, to me, is so true.

Minty Fresh!

There's a "Minty Fresh" Challenge going on over at Moxie Fab World:  use the color mint......

A few years ago I wanted to paint a wall in my kitchen/dining area a green color (not mint), so I have quite a few various green paint sample cards so I'm putting two to use; not only are they mint color, but the names say "mint":  Mint hint and Mountain Mint.  :)  What goes well with paint samples?  A little painter that's who!  This is a Fresh Brewed Designs digi called Hannah Belle Artist.  The little paint brush is a card connection embellishment.  I also swiped around the card edges a glimmer chalk in the color mint which is what you can see on the card if you enlarge it.......

WINNER!

Thank you again to everyone who joined in on the Fresh Brewed Designs Rubber Stamp release and blog hop this month!

The random winner for my "surprise" blog candy is ..............  ANGIE!  from Angie's Crafty Pad.  Send me an email at vanessabuzard at gmail dot com with your info. and I'll get it mailed out to you. I hope you'll like it!

CHALLENGES!

If you're here for day 3 of the Fresh Brewed Designs Rubber Release Blog hop, scroll down 1 (or 2 for 2 and 3 for 1.  hee hee)......

With the busy summer, I haven't had time (or energy) to stop by my favorite challenge blogs lately, and participate.  However, yesterday, unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well so plans were canceled and we had a nice relaxing day at home, and I created some cards.  :)

First up is the Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World.  The photo below is the trigger....
and here is my card:
That is a Fresh Brewed Designs rubber stamp:  I'll take mine to go!  Inspired by the scarf from the photo, I added one around her neck that's blowing back and she rushes off, coffee in hand. :)  I made the flowers with my daisy cuttlebug die.

My next challenge card is for CAS-ual Fridays challenge 66.  Splish Splash; something you might see in the ocean.

I used this super adorable turtle digi from Fresh Brewed Designs called Sweeie sea turtle or it can be purchased as a set.  I typed under it "I turtley miss you".

and the last challenge card I have to share today is Cupcake Inspirations Challenge 174.  Here is the photo of amazing cupcakes:

and this is my card.  I used two really old stamp sets from The Angel Company.  I love them and I can't part with them.  However, it's been a long time since I've used them as well.  As soon as I saw those cupcakes, I knew I had to dig them out.

Happy Monday!!  :)

FBD rubber release & blog hop DAY 3!

Here is Joe again presenting a gift of coffee goods.  The saying is from Yolanda "just yolie".  :)

Thinking of you Coffee Truck card. I picked up a set of cute washi tape from Michael's. The center of the flower is the (polka dot) washi tape folded almost in half (so there's still sticky showing) and then rolled into a circle.  "Thinking of you" and coffee bean stamps by A|S.

Hope you enjoyed the August Rubber stamp release and blog hop!

FBD rubber stamp release & blog hop DAY 2!

Rumor has it he was asked to be in the movie Magic Mike, but he respectfully declined.  ;) But he's hot enough, right?   ha ha!  :)  This is the newly released rubber stamp, Joe.
For this card, I cut out a pocket from ds' old jeans.  They were too small and ripped to donate, so I'm putting them use instead and they hold a nice little arrangement of instant coffee packs.  My husband also bought some new polo shirts recently, too, and I liked the tag that they had, so I used that as well.  I attached it to the pocket using my paper tagger.   I can't say I use that often, but I have used it quite a few times, including now.  It was perfect.  :)
Here's a nice card for a friend with a little "gift"....  a gift card could easily fit as well.  :)

Thanks for stopping by for day 2 of the Fresh Brewed Designs RUBBER STAMP RELEASE & BLOG HOP!  If you missed day one, scroll down 1 and then click on the link to the the beginning and hop on through.  :)

If you are getting here from Yonlanda's blog then you are right on track.

If you are just finding your way to our fun filled, extra caffeinated blog hop, then please start at the beginning here: Freshly Brewed Challenges.

The Fresh Brewed Designs Team and Guests have put together another HOT blog hop for you that starts TODAY and lasts ALL THIS WEEKEND featuring handmade cards inspired by our new released Rubber Stamps. You may remember that these, just as a few others in our rubber collection, once started as digis. We were literally begged to put them into rubber.... so after a year of their hibernating, here they are! Back and better than ever - ready to be created with and to make you smile.

For my card I chose to create with for day 1 of the hop (I have something for each day, so be sure to check back) is Coffee Truck.  I also used a FBD digi called From the RooftopsSince I'm not so great with the computer, I just hand wrote in "I need Coffee!".  Forget the ice-cream truck, chase down this fab coffee truck!  :)
as she travels along..... (speech bubble and wait! created with ms word)
and a little video of my ds showing you how the card works....  he's silly  ;)
For the duration of the hop, you can get these 2 stamps (Joe and Coffee Truck) and a fun set of eight 4x6 American Craft double sided papers (cut by Heather) for just $11 (A photo can be seen at the first hop stop). Drop on by the shop to snag yours before it is too late!!!

I'm also giving out a little blog candy, but it's a surprise!  If you like surprises and FBD, you'll want to win it!  Make sure you leave a comment and a way to contact you.  A winner will be chosen randomly!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

You can continue on with your caffeine addiction by heading over to Annette's blog.

No digis allowed! :)

That's not much of a challenge for me, because I loooooove my rubber stamps!  Especially my FBD stamps. :)  On this card I used La Dulce Vita.  The coffee bean background is an A|S stamp.

I'm not sure how much I like them (although they do look better in real life), but I spent too much time on them to trash them, but I created my little coffee bean flowers with cork paper and real coffee beans topped with a little dimensional glaze and copper glitter......

Come play with us for the FBD weekly challenge, Monthly (*Prize*) challenge, and Facebook challenge:  all the details are HERE.

DON'T FORGET!  The FBD rubber stamp release and blog hop starts this Saturday 7 a.m. EST and lasts 3 days!

Post a pic of your fave coffee!

Fresh Brewed Designs facebook challenge!

Terrible photo, but it is what it is.  This was yesterday evening after a long day of swimming and surviving Costco and the grocery store. whew....  and it's been HOT (for here)....  Anyway,  I asked ds (7) to take a picture and being the ever so helpful lad, he took a picture of the sky, the ground, my leg, all the while laughing. Sheesh.  You just can't get good free help these days.  Luckily, this delicious cup of goodness gave me the strength to have patience and say "oh forget it"  lol!

Now this a rare treat.  A wonderful dear friend sent me a Starbucks gift card for my birthday, which may have been a bad gift since I can now understand the addiction people have to their drinks.  ha ha!  This was a cookie crumble frap or something like that.  Honestly, I'm sure the Starbucks workers were snickering at my lack of knowledge on how to order a Starbucks drink.  At any rate, this was soooo unbelievably good.  YUM!  I may need to get another later today.... see!  The addiction is beginning....

Normally I brew plain old Folgers coffee at home and I drink it black. Oh and it needs to be really hot. I like it like that- plain and simple.

Want to win 5 free Fresh Brewed Designs digis?  Check out the facebook page HERE.

NEXT WEEKEND!  FBD RUBBER STAMP RELEASE AND BLOG HOP!  DON'T MISS IT! :)

I can't wait to SEA you!

This is a card I created using newly released Fresh Brewed Designs "Sassy Seahorse and Flirty Fish" which can be found HERE.  Using Microsoft word, I flipped the Sassy Seahorse to face Flirty Fish.  :)  I created the background on glossy cardstock using my loved but not used as often as I should Alcohol inks. If you put drops directly from the bottle, it creates circles or "bubbles".  :)  I have it matted onto mirror cardstock which is never easy to photograph, but there it is.... with an addition of some clear buttons for bubbles, my ocean "sea" card is complete.

Have a great day!!  :)
