Here's a card I created using some Art Impressions rubber stamps/die that I bought while at the Scrapbook Expo that was here in May:  cute front & back racoons.  They are so cute!  and I love this window die.  For the grass, I embossed green cardstock using an embossing folder from The Stamps of Life.  I typed out/printed the words and cut it using a word bubble die from the Sizzix bird & tree stamps/dies set by Stephanie Barnard.

 The inside table with coffee image is a digi from Fresh Brewed Designs. 

also.....  while at the Scrapbook expo, I got to meet in person.... Stephanie Barnard!  If you follow my blog, you know I'm on The Stamps of Life Design team, so I was excited to meet her.  Here's a photo:

sharing a couple Unity cards :)

Two cards to share with you that I created with Unity stamps.  I made these a couple of months ago, but just came across the photos I took/forgot about. I love Unity, but only have a few of their stamps.

 I love this artists' work.  I want all her horse designs. :)  This is the one I have. It's so sweet!

life is like a watermelon....

SWEET!  I have more watermelon cards to share with you today.

This first one is a shaker card.  I die cut lots of seeds from the die set to shake all around.  :) I used items from The Stamps of Life on all of the cards in this post:  watermelon2stamp stamp/die set, papers, cardstock, TSOL mini flower dies, brads, ribbon/twine, and the little wooden banner on this first card (I inked it and glued "seeds" on it). 

 for ^^ this card, I stamped the border stamp a little bit higher, cut along the watermelons, and the striped paper is actually "inside" the card.

I was excited to see this stamp set.  How deliciously fun!  It's a new month (really!? where does the time go?), so that means a new club stamp and die set from The Stamps of Life.   

The stamp/die set this month is.... Watermelon2stamp.  
Here is a stand up card I created with the watermelon2stamp stamps.  This is the Sizzix playful stand up card die set.  In the die set, it comes with a bite mark die!  Don't you just love it!?  "I" chomped off the corner of the card. ;) 

 Here's the card as you would receive it...... I also used it with the TSOL strawberries2stamp stamp/die set.

 and here it is standing up!  :)  I also added dimensional glaze to the watermelon, so that they looked extra juicy.  :9

Mountain Plains Crafters challenge

Hello!  I don't participate in challenges much these days, but I was asked to stop by Mountain Plains Crafters by a crafty friend, so I did..... AND I made a card!  :)  It's for their Summer Nautical/Patriotic challenge.

Here's my card:  I used the Sizzix large flip it card die set, along with TSOL flipflop2stamp/sandals4summer stamps and dies. The hello is from an exclusive TSOL die set called Notebook edge and hello dies.

I was still in a drop in shaker card kind of mood.....

I used the Sizzix flowers/sentiments drop in die set this time, along with The Stamps of Life whale2stamp stamp/die set. 

This ended up being a shaker fail actually, but it still turned out pretty.  I used recollections chunky glitter, which I learned is light and static, so the glitter doesn't actually shake.  :(  You're supposed to see some of the fish that you see in the background pic behind the whale.....  "oh whale".  hee hee ;)  I spent too much time on making it and then trying to fix it to trash it. 

This is the inside. I just stamped and colored with copic markers and a stella wink for sparkle.

Sizzix Greetings drop ins scalloped edge card die set, along with the Sizzix Butterfly triplits die set,  and The Stamps of Life triplit butterfly2stamp stamp set.

It's a shaker!  Ink and cardstock are also from The Stamps of Life.

Droppin in to say Thanks a latte!

I'm baaack with a little twist for the new Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard 3d flower drop in card die set.  

Here's a Thanks a latte coffee theme card I created.  This is the front.  These stamps are by My Favorite Things. The flowers are part of the card die set.

and the inside....  I decided to have a coffee cup pop out.  I just glued it onto the flower that pops out. This coffee stamp (actually, two cups, java time, & "a latte") is The Stamps of Life Coffee4two stamp/die sets.  The "you warm my heart" is mft.  Again, the flowers and leaves come with the die set.

Here's the front of my card, which I used the alpha dies in the hearts that come with the set to spell out happy.

and then when you open the card, a cute little banner pops out. 

and other card.  Here's the front (sizzix circle scallop and sizzix circle framelit and sizzix hello stamp)

and the inside of this card, bursts a different kind of banner, which in this case says Birthday!

 and then the inside!  The flower bursts out!  (that's the 3D part!)

 and again... card front:

 lots of flowers burst out.  There's two drop in choices with this set along with other flowers and word dies.  So much fun!!  :)

patterns4whales

Patterns and other sentiments for the The Stamps of Life whale2stamp set has been released.  It's super cute, of course!  Here's a card I created using using the polka dot pattern for the whale.  I also used the coordinating dies for set, AND I used stamps/dies from tsol spinner2stamp stamp/die set.

This is a sizzix basic step card.  Here's another angle to see better....
