The May Wood Block Wednesday  ! 

It's been a while since I last played along.  A couple of weeks ago,  I stopped in joann's one last time before they closed forever. There wasn't too much, but one thing I picked up was this pretty feather stamp from American Crafts. 

I used it along with a Stamplorations clear stamp set.

Hello! I'm back to link up one more Christmas card for the Build your stash holiday cardmakers linky party for Spring. 

I made this card last night as a two fer: this card linky party and for the Jaded Blossom Stamps May card challenge of Anything Goes. 

I did a loose watercolor of the images. The buckle is a metallic watercolor in a gold and the steam is a white metallic. The background was inksmooshed with oxide ink sprayed with fairy mist before stenciling.

Last night I sat down with a Paper Rose paper pack I received free with a scrapbook.com order. It's really pretty. I made a few very simple cards.... I'm just linking up as one, since there's not much to them. 😁

 Hello! It's time for the Build your stash holiday cardmakers linky party for Spring! 

I hope to get a few made and linked up, but .... we'll see! As of today, I made this card last night. 

The stamp set is from Picket Fence Studios.

Double stitched rounded corner die is Gina Marie Designs.

I inked the sky with oxide inks and splattered with Dr. PH Martin's for snow. The card base was inked with Lisa Horton Cloud 9 ink onto an already purple cardstock base, so it turned out darker purple and soooo shiny! Which is what I was hoping for, so I'm relieved that worked out. 😁

 It's time for the January Wood block Wednesday!

My card this month features a new Recollections wood block stamp I just recently picked up at Michael's for 75% off....

The pine tree with pine cones background die is SU! And the Happy Holidays is from a die set by Impression Obsession.  

I splattered bleed proof white dr ph Martin's watercolor paint for snow and to paint in the snowy parts of the stamp. 

P&M January challenge

 I was excited to see Pink and Main is doing challenges now.

January caffeinated Christmas

 I've missed a few caffeinated Christmas challenges. Gasp. But I'm back for January: snowflakes.

I got a set of solar paste amd lunar paste for Christmas. I hadn't tried the solar paste yet, so I was excited to play with it. 

For this card, I used Solar paste named Cross my Heart on both the black and the white. 

The stencil is called Frosty flakes and the diecut frame and base is from Punny Farm die set, both from Miss Ink Stamps.

The Coffee mug is Tiny Teacup die set. The pretty bling is also from TS.

Steam is Stamp Simply, Cup of Java.

Merry Christmas is TSOL. I added wink of stella.

Who doesn't love a nice got cup of cocoa, esp. on a cold day?

MY CARD: I had a lot of fun creating my card.....

I created the bkg with super sponsor A Colorful Life Designs Tree Line Edger 4 stencil, and splattered it with Dr. Ph Martin's bleed proof white.

The cute reindeer mug was made using Super sponsor Trinity Stamps die sets: Beary cute layering mug die set and the add on Freezin Season die set.

The sentiment on front is from the Pink and Main Simon says Stamp collab set from Stamptember....
