CLC

It's not always about coffee... tea is good, too. I enjoy unsweetened iced tea or a good cinnamon-y hot tea. How about you? Speaking of tea.... it's National Tea Day today, April 21st!

With that said, I have a tea themed card to share with you all today.

This was a pretty quick card to make. It's an A2 card and I have a dark brown cardstock card base, the pretty loopy rectangle die to cut out of white, the  a smaller in patterned paper. The pretty nestled die set is from Super sponsor Gina Marie Designs

The sweet little bunny tea stamps with coordinating dies are Super sponsor The Rabbit Hole Designs, and it's named Bunny Brew

To somebunny special is from a stamp set called Springtime bunnies from Super Sponsor Miss Ink Stamps.

Sending you some positivitea 😁 is a Super sponsor Gerda Steiner Designs set called Positivi-tea.

Have a to-TEA-lly great weekend.

Polka dots

Using polka dots is the challenge requirement for the Jaded Blossoms April challenge.

Here's my card using the following JB items: Rise and Shine stamp set, sunflower stencil, and internal scallop rectangle die. The polka dot stencil is not JB, but! JB has one if you need one. 😊

CLC

Caffeinated hugs! Happy Friday! I'm happy to be back as a guest designer at The Coffee Loving Cardmakers.

Today I am sharing this mini slimline card I created by stamping, stenciling and coloring. I used the stamp set Coffee Time AALL & CREATE that I got from super sponsor Top Flight Stamps.

The coffee rainbow is a stencil that was a free with purchase release special a year or two ago from super sponsor Miss Ink Stamps, so I apologize that it's no longer available; I love it and it was perfect for this whimsical card.

I lightly inksmooshed blue oxide ink on watercolor paper for the background sky....

Isn't she cute and fun?

The bees are from super sponsor Honeybee Stamps. The set is Busy bees. I decided to replace the traditional flying  trails with coffee bean flying trails. I cut off one of the tiny beans from the bean stamp in the AALL set. I loved how it turned out.

For the inside: The first sentiment (today's forecast) is from super sponsor Gina Marie Designs and the set is called Adult Coffee Sentiments. The 2nd sentiment is from Casual Fridays.

Have a great day!
Cheers!

Coffee Loving...

Hello! I am so excited to be a guest designer for The Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog for the month of April.

I am always happy to make caffeinated cards ☕️☕️

For my first share, I have a funny coffee card.

😂

I created this card using stamps and stencils from a new super sponsor, A Colorful Life Designs . I am on the Design Team and have a code VanessaFan10 for a 10% savings for you, on your entire order (excluding bundle deals), if you decide to shop.

My background was created by dipping this newly released stencil called BALL JUMBLE into watery oxide ink on my gel press, then I pressed watercolor paper onto the stencil. It was kind of a messy accident and as you can see a lot of the pattern was lost; however, I ended up loving it. Using the stencil COFFEE POT, I stenciled on the pot, coffee, steam and heart(s).

Then I stenciled CAFFEINE QUEEN onto the pot of coffee, and stamped the sentiment from the COFFEE STAMP SET; glued to black cardstock mat, then glued to top folding A2 card base, I was ready for the inside...

I stamped Decaf as the joke punchline.

Then I thought it would be funnier to add the bottom sentiment which is from another super sponsor The Rabbit Hole Designs . It's from a retired sentiment set called Perfectly blended.

Have a great day!

SNSS

Hello hello! This is my last post for Sweet n Sassy Stamps March guest designer. Thank you SNSS for having me. Thank you for dropping by my blog.

I bought the Cute critters stamp set and thought, these would make such cute quick cards paired up with some silhouette stamps, so I made a set of cards.  I used Serene silhouettes andLandscape Silhouettes

I used the Wood backgrounds stamp set for this mouse card.

Ink blended little backgrounds. The cute critters stamped on white cardstock, colored, fussy cut out and glued on... matted to white and glued to black A2 card bases, with the exception of the mouse card.

Snss

Happy Friday! I'm back to share another Sweet n Sassy Stamps card.

This time I used this beautiful stamp set, Bee Sweet. There is a die set, including bundle deal.

I love all things bees, so I really love this set. Here's my card:

I stamped the beehive and bees on mixed media paper, masked them off with masking paper, ink blended with oxide inks.  I removed the masks and colored in the images with colored pencils.

I lightly stenciled on the Chicken wire stencil, stamped the sentiment, spritzed with water. Then I decided it needed "something", so I inked splattered it with white acrylic paint. I matted it white and glued to black A2 card base.

Have a BEEutiful day!

WBW!

It's Wood block Wednesday!

What is WBW? Check it out HERE!

I've been looking forward to inking up this stamp I used for this WBW. It was one I chose from RubberMoon Stamps ; a sponsor of Wood Block Wednesday. I was a lucky winner a couple months back. 🎉😊❤️

It is called Shroom & board. I stamped it onto Strathmore mixed media paper and colored it with colored pencils and a little oxide inking for the ground and sky. My background paper I created using Lindy's Magicals, pretty powders with water. I can't remember which colors I used though. It made a nice earthy piece, perfect for this image. The sentiment stamp is Tsol.

Fishing you...

 Fishing you a finfilled birthday 🎂 🐟❤️😁

Hello!!

I have another card to share with with you using the fintastic stamp set from Sweet n Sassy Stamps called Fin-tastic friends.  There are coordinating dies. You can purchase separately or there's a bundle deal.

This card was an experiment. Luckily, I like how it turned out. It also ended up being quick and easy. These little sea creatures make me smile; they're so cute!

Have you used Ranger Ink Tim Holtz distress resist spray? I saw it at Michael's and was curious, so I bought a bottle. That is what I used on this card. It's pretty cool. It's a textured spray that dries clear and is water resistant. I sprayed some on a piece of mixed media paper I die cut for a card front; after dry, I ink blended with oxide inks. You can stamp on it! I stamped my sweet friends and colored them with colored pencils. I matted it to some silver cardstock and then to my A2 card base.

Thanks for stopping by!

Coffee?

Did someone say coffee? ☕️❤️😊

Today I'm sharing this coffee card with you all, using stamps from Sweet n Sassy Stamps called COFFEE TALK. This links you to the stamp and bundle set for savings 😁 They can also be purchased separately....

This is a quick and easy card. If you know me, I love all things coffee and love to make coffee cards.

I inksmooshed distressed oxide inks, vintage photo and ground espresso, onto watercolor paper. I stamped the coffee cup images onto mixed media paper and colored with prisma colored pencils. The heart and flower images are from the Tea for Two stamp set which is super adorable. I linked you to the stamp and die bundle, but they can be purchased separately. Sadly, I do not have dies, so I fussy cut the little flower..... the cups are die cut out, and I cut strips of paper and colored them in same shades as the cups. I stamped the sentiment, and then assembled card front as shown: matted to a card base.

Joy

Hello! You bring great joy to my life! Thanks for stopping by! Today I have this card to share with you using products from Sweet n Sassy Stamps .

I did a light inksmoosh bkg for just a splash of blue with tumbled glass distressed oxide ink onto mixed media paper. Once dry, I stamped the Flowers in Bloom stamp set (this set does have a coordinating die, imcluding a bundle deal). I also stamped the Henry Van Dyke sentiment, colored in the flower image with colored pencils, the. Stenciled over all of it with the Chicken Wire Stencil with Lost Shadow distressedoxideink. On a piece of vellum, I stamped the joy sentiment with lawn fawn black ink and let dry before attaching to my card front. I glued it to a black A2 card base.
