Happy Stampingbowl Sunday!

heehee.  We are not a football watching family, so no superbowl festivities for us.  Today is also the 7th, which means new releases over at The Stamps of Life!  :)

Pallette4mirror is the first thing I want to tell you about.  It's a large rectangle of polymer that you use as your base.  One thing you can do with it is stamp an image that you want to stamp facing the opposite direction that it normally does.  In this case below, I stamped the cute little hippo as it's intended and then I mirrored her by stamping on the pallette4mirror and then on to my paper.  Stephanie has a video you can watch if you have no idea what I just typed.  LOL! FUN!  There's also cool ways to create a background using the "kissing technique", so watch the video and check out the gallery for some great ideas by the other tsol DT. :)

 and then also released today is solids4hippos.  It's the companion stamp set that goes with the Stamp of the month set.  It has solid stamp to color in your hippos by stamping instead of coloring with pens/pencils, etc. which also has some fun patterns and added sayings. :) IT'S ALSO THE FLASH SALE ITEM TODAY!!

grid die!

2nd post today!  I want to let you know that there's also a new die at the Stamps of Life .... a grid die set.

I made these three cards over the weekend.  This grid  would be awesome for shaker cards as the frame of it is thick enough.  I was going to make this first card a shaker, but then realized I don't really like making shakers.  haha!  I know, they're so "in", but I've been making cards for a long time and many, many years ago I made them like crazy.  Anyway.... back to the grid!  I made this first card using the bunny2stamp and dies.  It's so cute!  I've said it before, but I'll say it again.... I love Easter!  :)  The flowers are from the mini dies set and that's ocean felt (TSOL).  tsol paper. The grass is from the happy mail die set.

 This grid card I deco'd with the sizzix/sb bee triplit die, sizzix flower layers thinlit die, mini flower dies, thinking of you die, tsol paper and ribbon, and "my friend" stamp is from sizzix tags & words set.

 lastly, the quickest card of all........ stamps from the new hippo2stamp set stamped on tsol paper and colored in with copics.  quick, easy, cute.  :)

HIPPO2STAMP

These are so cute and big fun (pun intended!) ;)  The new stamp club and die hard sets for this month over at The Stamps of Life is Hippo2stamp.   The dies are awesome, too!  Below are a few cards I made using this cute new set:

This card was created using the Sizzix 3d banner drop in card die set, along with TSOL papers, twine, inks, balloons2cut stamp/die set, and the little party hat is from the spinner2stamp set.

 This card I stamped, colored with copics inside and out.  TSOL papers, stitched rectangle dies, and a little twine for the tail. :)

 and this cutie I created just stamping/coloring.  I used the photo frame die set on the Sizzix Kind sentiments step up card.  Papers, inks, and washi tape are TSOL.

Hey there! I'm just dropping in to share with you a card I created for a friend using this month's stamp/die set from The Stamps of Life.

The stamp set, bandages2stamp, I only used the heart stamp. I used the die set, Bandage dies, to cut out the bandages and little hearts. I cut the center heart for my shaker using Sizzix framelit heart dies.  I also cut the border papers using the new exclusive stitched rectangle border set from The Stamps of Life.

You are awesome is a little stamp from the Sizzix tags & words set. It fit perfectly on the bandage that I stamped using Guava ink from TSOL.  This card is for a friend who is going to nursing school. :)

The little shaker bandages/hearts I found at party city.  It's part of a doc mcstuffins pack or something like that: a kid show my son didn't watch, but I see it in the girl toy section of the stores when I'm shopping for gifts for my niece. :)

New dies released at TSOL today! :)

New dies have been released today at The Stamps of Life.  :)

If you're not a die hard club member, the bandage dies that coordinate with the stamp of the month is now available for purchase.

There's a fun and handy numbers die set called quirky numbers.  I used those on this card below for the 2016 and the "hashtag" symbol. ;)   Other dies I used on this card from The Stamps of Life:  Happy, Celebrate, and rectangle dies.  The star die is also TSOL.

 and another new release is this cool happy birthday circle die set.  It's a set of two: the happy birthday and then another circle border circle.  Did that make sense?  ha ha.  The holes were perfect, I thought, to weave some twine though.  The card is a sizzix large circle die flip it set. All papers and embellishments are from TSOL!  :)

BUNNY2STAMP

I love Easter!  This weekend I worked on some Easter cards using the new stamp/die set from The Stamps of Life called bunny2stamp.

 First up, using papers, ribbon, brads, and felt by The Stamps of life, I created this cute bunny2stamp step card using the Sizzix Kind Sentiments step card die set, along with The Stamps of Life mini flower dies.  For the just for you, I die cut clear contact paper using the square the die that comes with the kit, attached it sticky side up to the just for you, and the sprinkled/rubbed on glitter to create a clear but glittery background.  

Again, papers, felt, and ribbon by The Stamps of Life.  I also used my custom ink pad I created to stamp the sentiment with a colorful ombre look.  To learn more about that, click HERE.

and lastly, yet another using the same products, but the Sizzix Elegant stand up card die set.    TFL!

Stitched rectangle border set

*NEW* EXCLUSIVE at The Stamps of Life........  stitched rectangle die set!  

I was so excited to see this new set. I just love it!  Here's a card I created using three of the rectangles which layer perfectly.  I also used the Miss you circle die which has a stitched border die as well, so I thought they went together well.   The tags are from the Sizzix tags & words set, and all papers and twine from The Stamps of Life.

 For this rectangle flip it card, I layered the smaller stitched border dies together, including a smaller one that I stamped Hello on using Stephanie Barnard's colorbox ink, Gingersnap.  Did you know she has a large line of inks that all coordinate with her papers/cardstock/embellishments?  Check them out here.

NEW!!

Lots of new stamps released today at The Stamps of Life!  

As I posted on the first, the new stamp club set at TSOL is bandage2stamp.  Now there is a coordinating set words4bandages.  :)   I used the dies for that set as well (available on the 20th if you're not a die hard club member), and created this step up card using the sizzix/sb kind sentiments die set.  Papers and ribbon from TSOL. :)

 For this card I used the sizzix/sb oval flip it card die set to create this cute card with... BUNNY2STAMP! it's NEW!  Easter is my fave, and this set is adorable!!  I also used mini flower dies.  Papers and ribbon from TSOL. *oh!  and there's dies to go with the bunny2stamp.  woohoo!

 and lastly, for today, a new stamp set called flowers2diefor.  It coordinates with sizzix flower layers and leaf dies.  Using tsol inks, embellishments, twine and papers, I created this card using the sizzix greetings scalloped edge dropins set.

I used the umbrella triplits for this card, on the playful stand up card.

 All papers for both cards are The Stamps of Life.  The Thanks stamp below is Sizzix.  The rainbow is part of the umbrella triplit set.  so cute. The cloud is not part of the set. 

New year, New stamp set....

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Wishing you all the best for 2016!

It's the first of the month, so that means...  new stamps and dies at The Stamps of Life!  This is a really fun set!  Here are two cards I have to share with you using the stamp (and dies) set called Bandage2stamp:  All papers and inks are The Stamps of Life for both cards.

Oh for fox sakes!

I'm back with another link up for the Winter/Holiday coffee lovers blog hop.

My family name is Fox, so this is especially cute and funny.  I made this specifically for my uncle and his family; however, since it was a pretty quick and easy card to make, I think I'll make up a few more for the Foxes in my life.  ;)

The Fox and "Oh for Fox Sakes" is a Unity Stamp Co. stamp.  The "not a creature...." and "Coffee..." stamp is from Stamplorations Big Grins Caffeinated Christmas stamp set.  The snowflake and "Wishing you a..." stamp is from The Stamps of Life (as well as the inks), and the cute little mug is Newtons Nook and Celebrate stamped on the mug is from A Journey with Melissa.
