I have a few cards to share with you today! And time to do so... yay to summer hours! Plus, I had a medical procedure done and I'm not supposed to do much for 48 hours, so it's a guilt free excuse to be lazy and make cards, right? :)
Okay! First up! I'm still having lots of fun with the hot4balloons stamp/die set from
The Stamps of Life. I picked up this pre-cut word bubble window card pack from Michael's a long time ago. It's studio G. I wanted it to look like someone was yelling "hey, hottie" from the balloon. ;) I dry embossed the clouds to give them a little more texture/appeal. The sky is chalk. The 3D balloon idea I cardlifted from one of TSOL DT members.
back of the card using my personalized stamp I purchased from TSOL. The bar code is also from a set from TSOL. :)
Again, more balloons.... I also used one of the framelit flip it card dies from The Stamps of Life, too.
This next card I created for my Grandma's birthday next week. She is a retired mail carrier, so she likes "mail stuff" ;) I got that designer paper (you know me, I never pay attention or remember who makes what paper) from a scrapbook kit, so it's finally coming in handy. I cut it using a Lawn Fawn stitched journaling card die. The mail theme stamps are all Lawn fawn. The little bird is SU! The cute girl sending off her card is a Fresh Brewed Designs rubber stamp. She's
Decorate it girl. She's actually a "Christmas" theme stamp as she holds an ornament and has a box near her feet. She also is wearing long underwear... but no longer.....
I made her a ribbon skirt and drew her some shoes.
The inside stamp is SU! Also, the little heart on the envelope and the ones inside are from a butterfly triplet die cut set from The Stamps of Life.
and lastly.... the colors are off on this card, but you get the idea. I also got this paper from a scrapbook kit, but have had no use for it, but thought it would be great with these hot air balloons... traveling the world. ;) I didn't want to cover the words, so I stamped directly onto the paper and then die cut the shape out and pop dotted it back on so you can see the balloon, but still read the words. I added a ribbon so it would stand out more.. Up, Up, and away is stamped onto washi tape........
TFL! Have a great Wednesday! :)
