First up, using papers, ribbon, brads, and felt by The Stamps of life, I created this cute bunny2stamp step card using the Sizzix Kind Sentiments step card die set, along with The Stamps of Life mini flower dies. For the just for you, I die cut clear contact paper using the square the die that comes with the kit, attached it sticky side up to the just for you, and the sprinkled/rubbed on glitter to create a clear but glittery background.
Again, papers, felt, and ribbon by The Stamps of Life. I also used my custom ink pad I created to stamp the sentiment with a colorful ombre look. To learn more about that, click HERE.
and lastly, yet another using the same products, but the Sizzix Elegant stand up card die set. TFL!

I love the adorable bunnies! Total cutness!

These cards are adorable, Vanessa. I love your work and look forward to seeing your cards whenever Stephanie puts a new video out! I just got these bunny stamp and die sets recently and appreciate the inspiration. One question: what are you using to color in your bunny and egg? Is it colored pencils? Or alcohol markers like Copics? If it's Copics, what ink do you use for the outline so that it doesn't smear when you color it in? (Or is it heat-embossed first?)
ReplyDeleteI didn't think I would be interested in the custom ink pads, but now that I see what you have done with yours, I just may have to try one out for myself! Perhaps success with these is all in the colors that you choose to combine. If you have a favorite color palette that you use a lot, I can see that a multi-colored ink pad would be great to pull all of those colors in together...especially if you use it to stamp repeat images to make your own patterned paper. Ideas, ideas... :)

thank you so much for the kind words Susan :) I usually use copic and spectrum noir markers, both are alcohol inks. i use memento black ink with them. That ink is best, i've found, to use with them. you don't need to heat set. :)
DeleteOH my gosh, these are all so adorable!! I love the sweet bunnies!! The designs are fabulous!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)
