Thankful

Happy Monday!  My kid is home sick today.  A week and a half back at school and already sick...   it's just a cold and he's already feeling better, so that's good! 

Over the weekend I cleaned up my EXTREMELY messy scrappy space.  I was literally out of work space; however, it's all clean now, and I did some card making.  :) 

I'm going to share this one with you:
I created this fall shaker using the We R Memory Keepers FUSE tool that I mentioned a post or two ago about getting.  I'm still loving it!  I went to Party City the other day and bought different kinds of confetti!  :)

I created the window/frame using the Sizzix Playful dies from the Playful stamps and dies set. 
The leaves and acorn are Sizzix Triplits Leaf . I'm a summer loving girl, but I absolutely love all things fall!  I just love this die set!  The sentiment is from the Turkey2stamp set.

    That leaf triplit looks awesome. I've been on the fence about that fuse tool. I promised myself no more tools, but I do like shaker cards. I'm assuming this is an easier way to create a shaker card than the traditional way. The card looks great and what a smart idea about picking up confetti at Party City.

      thanks! i hear ya about tools... thank goodness for birthdays in my case. lol! do you NEED it? No, of course not, but does it make shakers easier? yes, it does! :) thin shakers anyway. no glue hassles, and or pop dots and leaking holes.....

      Excuse this if it's a second reply.....I think I forgot to hit publish on the first. What can I say I haven't had my coffee yet. LOL. I caved and purchased the tool because I do hate the hassle of the glue and pop up dots. Thank you for your inspiration and enabling. LOL! Keep up the great work.

    I just love Fall, my fave time of year! The colors are perfect and the leaves are just gorgeous as is your background with the wood-grain! Really fabulous shaker design! :)

    I'm a summer girl too,but LOVE fall colors and decorations! This card is absolutely gorgeous... Love the shape of the shaker, colors and leaves. I'd love a tool like that... Just sold a bunch of cards, maybe I'll reinvest and get one... Hmmm;)
