Happy Trails...
As I posted yesterday (see post below), I joined in on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch challenge 149. Their sponsor this week is Digi Doodle Shop, which I have never been to, so I clicked over to see what kind of images they have........ 'cause I hope to win (tee hee!).... and saw this image below and instantly purchased it. It couldn't be more perfect at the right time. You see, this Friday is my Grandpa's birthday. He'll be 90 years young. Although he no longer rides, it was a great love of his. In fact, I lived with my grandparents for most of my young life and "vacations" were camping and trail rides.... although we had many horses, one of my Grandpa's was a palomino named Whatever. Yep, that was the poor horses name. ha ha. He was a great horse, so... here is a younger version of my Grandpa riding Whatever. ;) The saying I found off the Internet.... This card along with a basket full of my Grandpa's favorite things (homemade chocolate chip cookies and a big tin of almond roca) is on its way as, sadly, I won't be there to celebrate his big 90 with him.. :(
