Back to some challenges!

This first card is for the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge (#53).  In celebration of their birthday, the challenge is to create either a birthday card or an animal print card.  I decided to go with animal print.  This is an awesome rubber stamp from Fresh Brewed Desings called Some Things are Better Rich, and I paper pieced her towel, shoes, and chair in animal prints.  :)  The Coffee Break stamp is by Joy's Life.

and since I had the animal print papers out, I continued on with a little of it for this card which was created for Birthday Sundae's Challenge (yay!  they're back!) #38 which is just to create a new birthday card, which I did. :)  This is a rubber stamp by Fresh Brewed Designs called Hot & Stylin'.  I used some word stamps by Joy's Life  and the very last birthday sentiment by clear stamp.

  1. So you paper pieced the animal print? Exactly how do you do that? Is there a tutorial that shows how? Inquiring minds want to know! lol!

  2. hey Chriss!

to "paper piece" means to stamp your image onto cardstock, and then stamp the image again on to patterned/designer paper, cut out the piece that you want from the pattern/designer paper and glue on to your stamped image. Does that makes sense? Such as, I stamped the "some things are better rich stamp" once on cream colored cardstock as my "base", then again on cheetah (or whatever animal that is. hee hee) and then again on zebra paper. I cut out her towel from the cheetah and glued it onto my plain image and then cut out the chair parts of the zebra and glued it on my chair image. :) or for the second card, i paper pieced her dress....
