last day of August....

Every month I can't believe it's a new month. lol! Time flies!  Tomorrow will be new stamp and die hard club set releases at The Stamps of Life, plus some other fun stuff you're not going to want to miss! 

Here's some other sets that were released in August that you have to go check out if you haven't already done so...

This is a Stephanie Barnard set that was retired and RE-RELEASED to The Stamps of Life!  Yay!  It's called the Gate Fold A2 card die set, and I used it along with faces4stamps and smile is an HSN exclusive diet set called inspirational words. It was a huge hit and sold out, BUT they ordered more for the website, but I just checked an quantities are low...... if you want it, hurry! 

 This set, too, is a Stephanie Barnard design RE-RELEASED to The Stamps of Life. YAY! It's called Rounded Corner A2 card die set, and it's a must have!  I used it here with the getwellsoon2stamp set.

 Look at that bear!  Isn't he the cutest!! This set is new and called partybear2stamp and there are matching dies to go with him if you choose.  I used it here with the flip it card die based called fancy frame flip it.

 NEW! Circle Background die set which is so fun with so many possibilities. Set includes 13 dies :)

 and last but not least........... the big pointed banner die set for your fun banner making needs!  Here's an example I made for one piece, but envision the possibilities!

August club members got some AWESOME freebies this month, too, as TSOL 10 year anniversary is coming up and there will be a free online class. New flower fold it! and.....

Fold it's are the best!  There's a new one at The Stamps of Life, released today!

Isn't it cute!  It's called tropical flower fold it, but it's cute as "any kind of happy flower". :)

I used some TSOL twine to sew along the edges as the die cuts a cute little dotted border and to stick with the "theme", I used Jar2stamp stamps and dies.

 For this one, I added the ladybug pudgie and the balloons from the elephant pudgie.

but WAIT!  there's more new.....

The flower power background die.  It's not NEW in design, but it's RE-RELEASED under THE STAMPS OF LIFE brand.  If you don't already have it, why?  LOL!!!  go get it!  It's so pretty! 

I made this card using it over cute TSOL strawberry paper and sticking with that theme, using strawberry2stamp and dies, plus the you are sweet die from the watermelon2stamp die set.

New month, new stamp and die hard club sets at The Stamps of Life!  You're definitely not going to want to miss this set:  beautiful!  PLUS, exciting TSOL anniversary celebrations are coming up; including, free items and and online class!  Be sure to check out their website and facebook for more information!  HURRY!  :)

FIRST!  This fish fold it!  This is a limited Edition, so once it's sold out, it's gone fooorrreevvver. If you love it, go get it! Isn't is adorable!?  All those pieces die cut out, btw, so extra easy peasy putting it together any way you like. :)  I also added the flower by using this month's die hard club set, which will be available on the 20th for non club members.  If you're a club member, then you probably already have it or will very soon.

 This month's stamp set is tropical2stamp and who doesn't love hibiscus? We have some in our yard. They're beautiful!  Of course, they inspire tropical/beach/vacation.....   I created this card using the stamps and dies along with lemonade2drink which I colored using TSOL markers directly onto my stamp, and filled in/touched up with colored pencil. I also used the oval stitch only dies to frame it.

 There's also a companion set solids4tropical (as of 8/7), it's sold out, but it'll be back soon.  The solids for the inside part of the leaves reminded me of little Christmas trees, so...... a tropical Christmas card was born. lol!  I also used the small dotted background die as a stencil to add a little extra detail to my stamped background.

3-d popup drop in.... what!?

Ok!  New items over at The Stamps of Life and they are awesome!  One is my new favorite!

but first.... new background die that is really cute and full of fun possibilities:  medium dotted background die set.

I used it on this card front.  I sponged on ink and added glimmer spray, but it's hard to tell in the photo.

and now.......... the 3-d popup drop in set!

This is awesome!  You can use any background die and make it pop out for a fun, cool surprise!  The set comes with everything you see in the first card I made here except for the chicken (farmanimals2stamp) and the little flower stickers.

 Another, but I used the stitched window grid die set along with bugs and flower dies from the TSOL HSN exclusive shadowbox die set, card kit stamps, and thinking of you die.

 and........you don't have to use a background die, you can use dies to cut out a shape.  In this case, I used a rectangle die and added some dolphins2stamp images (actually card kit paper die cut using the dolphins2stamp dies).

A must have set!  You'll have so much fun with it!  :)

Hola, hi, bonjour.... set of 9 stamps to make sweet hello cards just because and brighten someone's day.

I created this card using a few of the stamps on the exclusive flip it:

 The stephiedoll1 stamp set was a big hit and immediately the requests for a kenny doll stamp started coming in...... here he is!  Kennydoll1

I created this card by pairing him up with Stephiedoll1, tsol border dies, and houses4us.

He also has a dog!  So cute!

I can't believe it's July already!  Perfect time for a picnic, and perfect time to make picnic theme cards!  This month's stamp club and die hard sets at The Stamps of Life is picnic2stamp and it's soooo cute!  BUT!!  know what's even cuter!? pairing it up with the new picnic table fold it card die set!

oh, and there's a companion set..... solids4picnic that you need, too!

New fold it!

Fold-it's are a favorite!  There's a new must have over at The Stamps of Life:  Pineapple fold it.

Here is one I created using the new die set along with the stamps from pineapple2stamp and sayings4pineapple.

There's a new stand up die set at The Stamps of Life that you need! 

The word stand up card die set and it says HELLO! It's a drop in set, so be sure to also get the Word stand up extras that have the words SMILE, LOVE, and THANKS.

The flower and leaf sprigs come with the set as well as the stitched rectangle layering dies.

 This is the card I made my dad for Father's Day.  Any of the alphabet dies would work, but the Newport Alphabet dies used here went perfectly, I thought. :)

The best part... a card that wows and it is so easy to make with these dies designed by Stephanie Barnard!

Dolphins!

This month's stamp club and die hard club sets at The Stamps of Life are dolphins, and it couldn't be any cuter!

Here are two cards I created to share with you:

This one is using the fun pocket slider card die from The Stamps of Life. 

This one is using the 5X7 shadow box die set from The Stamps of Life that was exclusive to HSN.  Good news: it sold out!  Bad news: if you didn't get it, you missed out :( 

 Along with the dolphins and fish swimming and playing in the ocean, I created the background using a past stamp club set:  lighthouse2stamp. It paired beautifully!   TSOL has many awesome sets that can create amazing Ocean/beach theme cards.  You can find them under SUMMER.

 My piggy played in the mud!  I die cut in brown and hand cut my mud layers with the exception of the mud splatters; I used the whale dies set for that.

A corgi fold it card! What!?  SO CUTE!  Just released at The Stamps of Life......... (flash sale price right now!)

Looking so dapper in a bow tie (part of the set), he says Hello.. (inside says Corgeous. stamps from the corgis2stamp set).

All your dog loving friends and family will love receiving a corgi shaped card, and even cat lovers... 'cause LOOK- sooooo cute. :)
