You'll 'whaley' love this set....

I can't believe it's June 1st already!  Only a couple of more weeks of school for my kiddo....   ack!  Just kidding...... I love summer!  So.. the first of the month brings new stamp club stamps to The Stamps of Life! 

This month's set is called Whale2stamp, and it's 'whaley' cute!

I have two cards to share with you using the set.  This first one is a stand up card (Sizzix Elegant).  If you're a TSOL die hard member, you get the great coordinating dies with your stamps; if not, and you want them, you need to wait until the 20th....  I used the dies on these cards, too.  This top one has the tiny little waves, and on the bottom of the card, some big splashes.  :)

 This second card is a step up card called Friends Forever by Sizzix.  Again, the super fun whales (in a big size and a cute small size) and the dies, too! 

OH!  and the pattern paper is The stamps of life, too!!  :)

Beer!  hahaha.  I do love craft beer. :)  This stamp set by Sweet Stamp shop just cracked me up!!  I had to get it.  For the glass, I stamped on acetate and cut it out, and again on white cardstock, colored, cut it out and placed them together. 

 More use of the wood plank paper I bought.  I bought a lot of it, so you'll be seeing a lot of it from me.

Fun little thank you card I made for a friend to say "thanks". :)

I replaced "I love you" with Thanks (sizzix stamp from the tags & words set).  Otherwise, all stamps by Jane's Doodles.

hello my friend, happy birthday

I'm back with another Hello My Friend circle die card.  I made it a shaker!  :) 

I also used the large rectangle dies for the layering.  Candles4birthdays stamp and die. Triplitbutterfly2stamp and Triplit dies.  I also used the Sizzix framelits tags with words.

the perfect card front layer!

Hello!  Yesterday some great new dies were released at The Stamps of Life.  I showed you the super fun Hello My Friend circle  yesterday, and today I'm going to show you the large rectangle.  Yes, I said rectangle.. rectangles actually, there's 2. :) That doesn't sound very impressive, does it?  but guess what?  IT'S GENIUS!  Seriously, I can't live without them now, and I've been using them on most of my cards.  Here's the card I made as an actual example/sample:

The striped paper was cut with the largest rectangle and the bee with the other: perfectly layered card front!  I don't know how I manage to do it (I blame my cutter), but often I cut my layers crooked, which really bugs me!  or I don't measure with a ruler, I just eye ball it holding it up to the paper.... sometimes ends up too big or too small.........  who knew two rectangle dies would make me so happy.  :) 

Also on this card, I used the happycalligraphy2stamp stamp for the sentiment, and the honeycomb die from the Sizzix Bee Triplit die set, and a flower from the mini flower die set. AND! the paper is TSOL, too!  It's from the Blessings collection.

Hello my friend

 Hello my friend(s)! ;)  This morning I have two things to tell you!  First... The Stamps of Life has a new and improved website!  New features you'll love! The second is that there are new products released today!

For today I'm going to share with you two cards using one of the new dies that has been released.  This one is so much fun and so cute! 

I created a window card for this one. I cut out the hello my friend right on the card front.  I did it again, along with the other die that comes with it on a darker pink cardstock, then pop dotted it for extra dimension and tied on ribbon.....

I added some little flowers I cut using the mini flower dies, and stamped with cute little butterfly stamp from the triplit butterfly stamp set.  That pink ink is (Stephanie Barnard) Guava.

Inside the card ^ is paper by TSOL, and the I miss you from the happycaligraphy2stamp set.

The second card to share with you is all TSOL products as well: cardstock, paper, dies, and stamps.  This is the large circle flip it card die set, which you can see is perfect for the new hello my friend circle die.  :)

The stamp and matching dies are heartlocket2love.

Here's a simple card that is easy to put together, but cute.  :)  New at The Stamps of Life, a 3 pack of embossing folder borders flowers/dots.  I used the dots. ;)  The tag is the Sizzix tags with words. 

and DID YOU HEAR?  The Stamps of Life will reveal a new website tomorrow (5/19)!  I can't wait to check it out!  :)

New Sizzix by Stephanie Barnard

Today I have two cards to share with you using two new Sizzix items by Stephanie Barnard. 

This card I created using the Sizzix Triplits Cheveron Tags which is a fun set you need to get.  There's 15 dies to layer and mix and match....

 and the other new product released today is a set of 3 border embossing folders called Flowers/Dots.  Here is my card using the dots.  I also embossed one of the tags (Sizzix Framelits Tags & words) as well.  The cute little flower border is from the Sizzix Friends Forever step up card die set.

Happy Monday!  No school here today as our school is having a "personal growth day", so after the kid wakes up, we're headed out for some no school fun.  :)

Happy Friday!  So.... a couple of posts ago, I mentioned I just discovered Jane's Doodles stamps while at my LSS.  I bought the beautiful owl set and made a little goodie bag and card with it.  It was mentioned on her blog, so I got to pick a free set!  I chose DoNUTS:

Isn't that super cute!?  and will be awesome paired up with my many coffee stamps. ;)  I look forward to receiving it.  What a fun, generous gift.  :)  Anyway... my LSS is actually closing their doors soon.  So sad :(  I went back and got another Jane's Doodle stamps set called Seamus, which is a super cute set with sheep. 

I'm sick and it's actually raining.  Raining!  in San Diego!?  Last week the A/C was on, today the heater.  HA.  It makes for a good guilt free excuse to sit around and stamp.  :)  I made this card for my Grandma as she just sent us some thoughtful gifts:

I did a quick watercolor background using gelatos and water.  I kind of messed it up toward the end of finishing the card, so I decided to just leave it alone so as not to make it worse.  I hate that.  Anyway........ some white flower soft makes my cute little Seamus sheep extra fluffy and cute, I think.  :)  Stamps are from a Sizzix alphabet stamp set.
