Look how cute and fun these little boxes are! 

New to the Stamps of Life, the petal box die set is perfect for little gifts, party favors, ornaments, etc.  Of course, you can use all the non box dies on your cards, scrapbook pages, banners.... 

I made this set to spell out Baby using the Newport Uppercase Alphabet die set.  Wouldn't this be cute at a baby shower with little candies inside?

There's an extra large bow die released today at The Stamps of Life!  (flash sale item today 4/15)
 
 It's definitely a must have in your die collection.  You can make a a bow with the hanging ribbon or without........

Here's a card I created using all the pieces of the xl large bow die set, and it's the focal point of my card.  I also used from The Stamps of Life: stitched rectangle dies, stitched tag die, and the happy birthday is a stamp from train2stamp. Quick, easy birthday card ready to give. 

 There's actually 3 other bow dies at the TSOL, too, for a total of 4 different sizes! Here you can see the difference in sizes.  When comparing, I thought it formed a Christmas tree shape, so ... that is how this card was inspired:  mini bow dies, small bow dies, large bow dies, and extra large bow dies.
I also used stump and star dies from the tree fold it from TSOL, hsn exclusive.

This month's stamp set is Lighthouse2stamp and I just love it!  That released on the 1st, and now there's also a companion set sayings4lighthouse.

I love lighthouses!  They're so beautiful!  When I saw this set, I was so happy!  Here are a few samples I have to share with you:

For this card I created a little scene using the HSN exclusive 5x7 shadow box from The Stamps of Life, along with sailboat2stamp and (grass) tsol border dies.  I colored this with colored pencils and gamsol.  The happy birthday was stamped on vellum and attached to the waves so that it would show up. For added texture, I crinkled my clouds before attaching them.

 The sunburst2stamp set is PERFECT for this set!  I also added some cute whales from whale2stamp.
This was also colored with colored pencils and gamsol. The inside is a stamp from the sayings4lighthouse: gorgeous fonts! I added some of the birds, too.

 and last....... I thought it would make a beautiful bookmark. I used the bookmark die set, and watercolored the background and image. I also masked the sunburst image to only have a few rays shining.

My favorite release this month is the Bunny fold it!  Ohmygosh, how cute is it?  This is on preorder and will ship out soon, so go get it!  

New pudgie!! It's soooo cute, too!!  Koala! 

New baby items have been released, so if you need to make a congrats card or an announcement or need to decorate a banner and other things for a shower, this stamp and die set is for you!  :)

A new envelope liner die set was released, and it has a pretty scallop edge and comes with three decorative drop ins, too.  Here's an example of one of the patters and I used it on a card front, too:  easy, pretty, and they coordinate!  :)

The Stamps of Life released a pocket slider die set, and it's so fun!  I've been so looking forward to it being released because I want to make all my cards pocket slider cards. lol! 

Interactive cards are always fun, and with these dies.... so easy!!

New at The Stamps of Life are two alphabet stamp sets: they are both script, but one set is lowercase and the other uppercase.  The lowercase set includes numbers :) Beautiful font!  and so intricate!  You'll definitely want to use the TSOL adhesive sheets with them. You can make them really stand out with the shadow dies as well.


Alphabet fonts are great to have when you need something personalized... whether it's a name or an uncommon word, you'll be able to spell whatever you want. :) For my sample, I decided to make a personalized note card from ME. The just a note die is from TSOL exclusive fancy frame flip it card die set, along with a sizzix dotted heart. The from stamp I just used from a random set that I honestly don't remember.  It's easy to do... you can easily cut your stamps apart or just mask off the words you don't want to use, ink, remove mask, and stamp.

Happy Friday!  Two new awesome products have been released today at The Stamps of Life, and you're going to want them both!

A new fold it by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard:  strawberry!!  A2 in size and so cute!!  Here's a card I made with it: I used stamps from strawberries2stamp, because they go with it berry well. ;) :)

 

 and...... the box it die!  An exclusive die from The Stamps of Life that will turn any of the fold-its into a fun box.  Awesome, right?

 Here's a goodie box I made using the cupcake fold it. You could use just the cupcake shape, but I decided to keep mine a card AND add it to the box, so... two in one!  and filled with yummy candy.

The Leprechaun set pairs perfectly with the rainbow2stamp set, of course. :)  tip: there's also a cute little rainbow in the unicorn pudgie set.

For the grass border, I used one from TSOL border dies set.

and the "lucky" horseshoe stamp can easily work with the cute horse stamp/die from the farmanimals2stamp set.

ohmygosh you guys!  New pudgie this month at The Stamps of Life and it's a pig!  I think it's my favorite pudgie thus far.  So CUTE!

I have two cards to share with you:

First one I paired him up with the also really cute sheep pudgie:  sheeppudgie13. Excuse the twine in her face.  I didn't notice until I had already sent the card off to TSOL headquarters. ;) 

 and this card.... I make a lot of cards, you know, and I'm pleased with most, but every now and then I love a card I make and this is one.  There's not much to it, except the pig is just so cute!!  I made "mud" using TSOL border dies and the mud splatters are using the water splash dies from the whale2stamp die set.  I also used rectangle dies, a dotted rectangle die and embellishments also from TSOL.  The googly eyes (with lashes!  I just love!) I got off of amazon.

egg-citing new release today!!

A new LIMITED EDITION fold it card die was released today at The Stamps of Life: Easter egg fold it. 

Fold it's are probably my favorite? I think they're extra fun!  The Easter egg fold it is beautiful!  Not only is it egg shaped, but it comes with a floral front die that you can layer and mix and match..... so pretty!  I used it here along with the Easter statement word stamp/die set, and the sayings4butterfly set.  

 BUT!  don't limit it to just Easter......... Here's a quick, fun Valentine card I created making it a dinosaur egg.  Dino2stamp, and the happy valentine's day is from the icecreamtruck2stamp set....

caffeinated inspiration

I bought this scented, yes, I said SCENTED coffee washi tape from Michael's and finally used it on this card. Ohmygosh, it smells so good!!  :)
