Happy Friday!  Two new awesome products have been released today at The Stamps of Life, and you're going to want them both!

A new fold it by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard:  strawberry!!  A2 in size and so cute!!  Here's a card I made with it: I used stamps from strawberries2stamp, because they go with it berry well. ;) :)

 

 and...... the box it die!  An exclusive die from The Stamps of Life that will turn any of the fold-its into a fun box.  Awesome, right?

 Here's a goodie box I made using the cupcake fold it. You could use just the cupcake shape, but I decided to keep mine a card AND add it to the box, so... two in one!  and filled with yummy candy.

...but WAIT!

You don't have to use a fold-it's die.  I will work with other dies!  Check out these ideas:

There's a great new Leprechaun2stamp (and die set) over at the Stamps of Life to get you ready to work on those St. Patrick's Day cards, banners, and scrapbook pages... or whatever else you think up!  (cupcake toppers, place cards....)

I have a couple of cards to share with you:

The Leprechaun set pairs perfectly with the rainbow2stamp set, of course. :)  tip: there's also a cute little rainbow in the unicorn pudgie set.

For the grass border, I used one from TSOL border dies set.

and the "lucky" horseshoe stamp can easily work with the cute horse stamp/die from the farmanimals2stamp set. 

 

pudgie!

ohmygosh you guys!  New pudgie this month at The Stamps of Life and it's a pig!  I think it's my favorite pudgie thus far.  So CUTE!

I have two cards to share with you:

First one I paired him up with the also really cute sheep pudgie:  sheeppudgie13. Excuse the twine in her face.  I didn't notice until I had already sent the card off to TSOL headquarters. ;) 

 and this card.... I make a lot of cards, you know, and I'm pleased with most, but every now and then I love a card I make and this is one.  There's not much to it, except the pig is just so cute!!  I made "mud" using TSOL border dies and the mud splatters are using the water splash dies from the whale2stamp die set.  I also used rectangle dies, a dotted rectangle die and embellishments also from TSOL.  The googly eyes (with lashes!  I just love!) I got off of amazon.

egg-citing new release today!!

A new LIMITED EDITION fold it card die was released today at The Stamps of Life: Easter egg fold it. 

Fold it's are probably my favorite? I think they're extra fun!  The Easter egg fold it is beautiful!  Not only is it egg shaped, but it comes with a floral front die that you can layer and mix and match..... so pretty!  I used it here along with the Easter statement word stamp/die set, and the sayings4butterfly set.  

 BUT!  don't limit it to just Easter......... Here's a quick, fun Valentine card I created making it a dinosaur egg.  Dino2stamp, and the happy valentine's day is from the icecreamtruck2stamp set....

 Go get one now!  Once it's sold out, they won't restock. 

caffeinated inspiration

I bought this scented, yes, I said SCENTED coffee washi tape from Michael's and finally used it on this card. Ohmygosh, it smells so good!!  :)

Nature

Hey there!  I'm really excited about this (new to me) challenge blog focusing on cards for male's: The Male Room. This month's challenge is Nature.  I wouldn't normally think of this card idea as nature themed, BUT it has a fish tag on it, so...... nature. :)  AND it happens to work out perfectly for my brother in law's birthday coming up next month as we're giving him a bass pro shop gc (no, he doesn't read my blog, so no surprises are ruined. lol!)

I also don't normally like to spend a huge amount of time on cards for guys, so this one is perfect. 

I used the Sizzix gift fold it's die card set, along with the Stamps of Life Large bow die, and the Stamps of Life fish2stamp and coordinating dies.  I colored the fish image with prismacolor colored pencils and went over it with a clear wink of stella for some glittery shine.

There's two NEW fun stamps sets released today at The Stamps of Life.

I created this quick and easy card using the Sizzix  Rounded Corners w/Circle Drop-ins.

 This one makes me laugh! #Ilickedthis

  ...and there's a new pudgie out!  It's another cute cat! Add it to your pudgie collection: cat3pudgie20.  Who wouldn't want a box full of kittens?  ;)  I used the Sizzix box card die set and used all three cat pudgies for this card. I also used the fish stamp/die from cat2stamp, kittens is newport alphabet die set, and little dies to make free are from the foxes2stamp dies.

Of course, the box cards fold flat for mailing.

Male call

Making masculine cards to send to guys is a challenge, am I right?  It is for me, and I have a couple of birthdays coming up, so I was excited to see this challenge blog called The Male Room.  It is a challenge blog for male only projects.  Perfect! 

The current challenge is Anything Goes with an optional twist: beverages.

I created this card for my Dad's birthday coming up soon:

I used the Sizzix square stand-up card die set, Sizzix dotted square die, and the Stamps of Life hot chocolate dies to create this quick and easy card.  I also made a matching envelope liner using the Stamps of Life envelope liner die.

 My dad's choice of beverage would be a highball. lol!  but... he does enjoy coffee, too... and... I don't have any highball stamps or dies. ha.  I think I succeeded creating a masculine birthday card for him. :)

Hello!  New items at The Stamps of Life today that you're not going to want to miss out on.... especially, because...... FLASH SALE!

The fold-its cards are always super cute and fun, I think! How adorable is this ice cream fold it!?  My ice cream drippings are made by using the splash die from  the whale club die set and the Have a sweet day is from watermelon2stamp, which is die-cut out using the dotted circle die. It's so easy to make such a fun card to give for any occasion or add to a project.

 and this banner die is so cute!  It's called pocket size banner dies set, and that's because it's a lot smaller than the other banner dies:  3x5!

 

I created this little banner using the set, plus the congrats circle die, the 3.5 lower case alpha dies, and you're a star from the star fold its set.

There's 3 new sets to go with this month's stamp and die hard club sets over at The Stamps of Life today........ 1 stamp and die set, 1 stamp set,  and 1 die set.

This card I used the jar2stamp/die set along with the new labels4jar. (*flash sale item today*). Using the larger jar die, I cut a window from the card front.  I stamped the jar onto vellum. The Hello frame and word is embossed in white onto black cardstock for a chalkboard look.........

 and then another sentiment with border stamped inside.....

 A quick and easy card using the jar2stamp and the new words4jar stamp set. I love this set!  It's so pretty!  I created a bow with the small bow die set and embellished with a button die from the jar die set.

 Inside I stamped more flowers and added button dies from the jar die set....

Lastly, there's a beautiful die set in the same font as the words4jar....  words4jar dies!  You can use them with the words4jar set or on their own. Each word is a delicate font with a shadow die. For this card, I used only the font die for the front of this card: just a note. I used a Sizzix dotted heart die on the front and left it in and added cute little flower embellishments from The Stamps of Life...

 and then for you on the inside, using the font die and the shadow.

 You'll want all of these new sets even if you don't have the jar set.  The jar set is sooo fun and can be filled with anything you can dream up.

HEART

I need to tell you about a NEW die set at The Stamps of Life that was released today....  heart background die set. *limited edition and flash sale price*

Big heart with lots of creative possibilities!

Here's my sample using it on a card, along with the love statement set and I stamped it to have two sentiments: Life is nothing without LOVE... i LOVE you....

I die cut the heart with other colors fill in.... keep the rest with the die set. These little hearts in various sizes will come in handy for other cards.

jar2stamp...

I saw a post that said to get a jar and at the end of each week, write down something good that happened that week on a piece of paper, and put it into the jar.  At the end of the year, go back and read those to see how wonderful life can be. I love that idea!

I stamped this jar onto acetate and it's backed with white paper....
