Cozy mittens!

NEW TODAY!  The Stamps of Life stamp club and die hard sets are released (and mailed):  mittens2stamp.

I just love this stamp and die set, and there's coordinating sets to follow that you won't want to miss either!  But first....

Here are a few cards I created using the mittens2stamp/die set:

For this card I created my own background paper for this large 5x7 circle flip it card using the smaller stamps from the set (inks TSOL). TSOL hello m friend circle flip it it. The felt is TSOL.  Close knit friends.... that's you and me (on the flip side). 

 This is a mini step up card die set. papers are TSOL. I colored the mittens with Chameleon pens. I added some sequins (tsol) to the snowflakes....

 Last.... sending you a winter wave. Again, die cut the mittens with felt, because it just makes them extra warm feeling. :) TSOL stitched rectangle set I use so often ;) Papers and Inks are TSOL.

I put this on a spring.  I think the spring is from piggytails.  I've had them in my stash for years.  If you follow me on IG and/or FB, I have a video.  It kind of actually "waves" if you flick it. :) 

Sunday Sip and Share

Oooh, my fantastic FB group Coffee Loving Papercrafters has started a new fun thing on their website: Sunday Sip and Share.  There's a card sample and includes the card sketch, and if we choose, the sketch to play along.  I'm caught up on my DT projects, just received some fun coffee/tea stamps from Your Next Stamp, so I thought I'd play along this week.

stitched oval dies

These dies do not cut out of your paper. Set of 8 that nestle. I have a sample card to share:

Excuse the shadowing, but I kept all the dies nestled together and ran them through the machine, then stamped hello in the middle.  Other dies are from the sizzix A2 half card die set.

The hop to stop!

The next challenge, or hop rather, I chose to participate in is an important one: The Hop to Stop!

I participated last year, too.  Fortunately, I don't have my own story to tell, but I know some who do.  Please don't tolerate it: whoever you are, YOU ARE AMAZING! Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

I don't often participate in challenges these days, but I've come across a couple recently that I wanted to join in on, and found a bit of time, so....... first up:

Not much a challenge when you love coffee, but..... lol!!  Here's my CAS card:

I used stamps from A Creative Journey with Melissa and Sugar Snap Peas.  I colored the mugs with Chameleon Pens. You can't see, but I spritzed the whole card with perfect pearls mist.

Here are a couple of samples I have to share with you. I also used Sizzix tree triplits and ornament triplits as well as a fun drop in set for the 2nd card.  Papers and inks are The Stamps of life.

I love this set. It's so cute! Here are a couple of card I created using this set, along with other sizzix card dies: papers and inks are TSOL.

more gingerbread

Today at The Stamps of Life, a new companion stamp set released to go with the gingerbread2stamp and GIRLgingerbread2stamp sets: moregingerbread2stamp. 

I created this card using the more set. I heat embossed the "frosting". The one cookie got chomped ;) I used the chomp die from the tsol watermelon2stamp set. :)

 Then I thought, cookies are yummy with coffee..... tsol coffee4two.

Sizzix drop in script

This is a really pretty drop in set by Sizzix; just released today at The Stamps of Life!

Script words.

I don't make shaker cards often, but I had a lot of fun with this card.  It's awful to photograph.  I'll be posting a video on IG. You can click over (and follow me ;) ) to the right of this page.

I used two layers of the script word dies so love is at the top and the heart border is at the bottom. I used clear acetate and embossed it with the sizzix butterfly embossing folder. I filled the shaker with sequins from TSOL.

 you are so kind is part of the drop in script set to, but i cut the words out of the frame to put it on the inside of the card. So closed, you can see all three...  :) papers are tsol.
