Just a note.... thinking of you....

Hey there!  Just wanted to let you know that there are new stamps over at The Stamps of Life with Stephanie Barnard.  :)

Patterns4happymail to coordinate with the super cute happy mail club set that was released this month.  So fun!!  For this card, I embossed the side with the border dot embossing plate (it's a set with another pattern), and I added a little mailbox and saying inside...

A shaker card using the Lovely 3d drop in card set along with the happymail2stamp and patterns4happymail stamp sets.  Yay. I used my fuse tool.  ha!  Although, it doesn't shake very well...  hmmm.
AND there's stamps that go with the recently released die sets titled bubbly.  They fit perfectly.  There's sayings and patterns.  Great addition if you hate these dies already...
or even if you don't!  Here's a card I stamped using that set.
All stamps, dies, papers and inks are Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard and The Stamps of Life.  :)

I'm super excited about this set.  I had been thinking I wanted a happy mail stamp set, and was just about to order one from another stamp company when I received my DT package... and there it was!  A happy mail stamp set! I may or may not have danced a little happy dance...  ;)

I have a few cards to share with you using the new set and dies (which are on their way if you're a die hard club member.  if you're not, the dies will be available on the 20th):

It's so nice to go out to the mailbox and see a card in it.  NOT a bill!  Right?  I created this card with the stamp/die set along with  Sizzix Basic step up card die, and the cute little smiling sun from the Sizzix Hello Sunshine triplit set. Papers from TSOL.

and an envelope to mail it in....

and another using the Sizzix 3d banner drop in set.  card front ^

How are you?

New fun dies available at The Stamps of Life with Stephanie Barnard!

I got to play with the How are you? circle die which is really cute. I love the stitched border.

Here are two cards to share:

Using my current favorite step up card die set, Kind sentiments,  I created this card with the How are you circle die, and leaves from the Leaf Triplits set.  Papers by The Stamps of Life.
This card I used the circle die without cutting out the circle. I used the stitch circle to create my own pattern paper texture.  I like how it turned out.  I made my own buttons using The Stamps of Life mini button dies, and stamp and tag die from Sizzix tags & words.
The other die set available today is a heart set that it really fun, so go on over and check it out.  :)  Happy Friday!!  :)

3 new stamp sets at The Stamps of Life! :)

Hello!  I'm here to tell you about three new stamp sets that were released at The Stamps of Life today:

First up is the stamps4lively stamp set which was designed to coordinate with the lively card die sets. There's a flip it and a stand up plus a framelit set; However, I chose to use it just stamped on a regular card front.  It's a cute set with a fun shape and I love on this thanks stamp the dot border around it.   It's stamped in Ocean ink from TSOL.  The flower stamp is one of my faves that I haven't used in a while called sea2flower which pairs with turtles2love:  you can use the stamps from turtles2love to stamp the flower petals.  :)  The border is from one of the sizzix card sets, but I can't remember now which one. whoops.
Next is a stamp set called Sayings4puzzles, which goes perfectly with the puzzle dies.  There's a large set and a medium.  I used the medium die set with the sizzix ink transfer paper in black to create a big "puzzle stamp". I cut the puzzle shapes out using TSOL paper and used one of the pieces to glue on it.  I covered the whole thing with vellum.  I stamped the sentiment in guava ink and embossed it with clear EP powder.  I added the heart shapes from another die set, which again.... I forget now.  I write this stuff on the cards, but I guess I should be writing them down here at home before I mail them out to Stephanie, too. haha.
and lastly for today:  more sentiments to go with this month's club stamp.  FUN!  and on this card, I actually glued real salt and pepper on it. ;)  I've been busy working on other projects, but I have lots of ideas for this salt and pepper set that I can't wait to do.
Have a great day!!

Dragonflies!

I just love this new triplit die set from Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard that is now available to you at The Stamps of Life:  Dragonfly triplits!

Customize your own beautiful dragonflies.  Layer them from color and dimension. :)

Here are a couple of cards I created to share with you:

I also used the dragonfly die with the Sizzix inktransfer sheets to "stamp" the matching image, too!  Fun stuff, esp. if you have dies you love that you wish were stamps! :)

There are also Bee Triplits and Butterfly triplits.... I used them on this stand up card below, too:

Shake it!

Happy day after Halloween!  After two different trick or treating events and our school fall festival, my kid is munching on candy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  At least I don't have to cook.  I'm kidding!  I kid, I kid!  :)

So........ it's the first of the month!  You know what that means here:  New!  The Stamps of Life stamp and die club releases!  (and there's more! but right now I'm posting about the club stamps).... so...  here we go!

The new set is fun.  saltshaker2stamp.

I have a couple of cards to share with you using the stamps only:  Using TSOL pattern pattern, and sizzix circle framelit die, plus the stamps. You don't just have salt, there's pepper, too, and for this card I decided to add one of my favorite spices as a shaker: crushed red pepper.  :)
Here's a flip it using the set.  I created my own background paper stamping the different sized shakers all around as well as the S and P's. :)  The green ink is a newly released color at TSOL called Kiwi. I love it!
Go on over and check them out!  :)  Of course, if you're a member, they are on their way!
