more tags, cute cat and fun step up

WHEW!  It has been a stressful week!  We've been in the process of buying a house, but it's turning into a nightmare... my sweet old dog had a little mass removed, but he's home and doing fine now. :)  Yesterday I really needed a day to do nothing, and make a couple of cards.  Card therapy.  :)  I have two cards to share with you today:

I really love the step up cards.  This is the newly released one called Friends Forever.  Along with the step up base, it also has the cute flowers and vines you see here, and the word/shadow "thanks".  The cat image is this months' stamp/die set of the month at The stamps of life called cat2stamp.  It's so cute. :)  aaaannnd last, but not least, just released the other day, the sizzix framelit tags & words set.  I used those on the flower vines and for the cat's collar.  :) 

 Here's a little tag collage on bakers twine using the sizzix framelits tags & words set. Oh, except the bee.  That's from stamp2build. (one of my fave tsol sets!).

NEW sizzix tags die set with word stamps!

Happy Sunday!  I'm here today to let you know that there are two new fun sets released over at The Stamps of Life today.  One is a super cute triplit die set called Hello Sunshine.  It's soooo cute!  You have to go check it out. The other is a Sizzix framelits tags & words set, which is awesome.  There are word stamps for many occasions that are all the perfect size for the tags, AND it's an excellent value!  I feel a little mean sharing the card above, because part of the card is a sneak peek and I know you're going to want it!  AND you can, but not for a while ;)  HOWEVER, I'm showing this card for the cute tags! You CAN get that now over at TSOL! :)  So many different shapes. I love grouping tags together.  As you can see on the card above, I stamped "for you", "you're awesome", and "happy birthday".... and the little heart tag in the corner comes with the tag set too.  Adorbs, right?  :) 

more friends forever...

I really love the Sizzix step up cards!  They are so fun and with the dies, so easy!  The Sizzix Friends Forever step up card set was just recently released.  Here are the cards I created using it the basic way. 

 I'm sharing two more cards with you that I created using that same set, but a little differently.  This first one was created using the layering dies and cute flowers as well as the word friends.

and for this card, instead of a step up card, fold it the opposite way and glue into a card base and you now have a pop up card. 

Upliftingwords2hear

Hello!  I'm just dropping in to tell you that three new great stamp sets have been released over at The Stamps of Life! TODAY! :)  There are two sets that coordinate with already released stamp/die sets, and then there is this one called Upliftingwords2hear which are great sayings in pretty fonts, and I have some cards to share with you:

First up is Joy is contagious.  I totally agree!  I used the Exclusive fancy edge flip it card die, along with the mini flower dies that I love.  They are so handy when you want to add flowers to your projects and can make them whatever color you need. :)  Did you know TSOL has embellishments, too?  The brads are TSOL as well.  :)

 

This next card is such a fun, great saying, and so true as well.  I created the heart frame and little heart using the Sizzix framelits hearts dies #2.

I love this one, too.  Who doesn't feel happiness when they see a rainbow?  Of course, when things are looking down, look for the positive.  I cut the rainbow out of some rainbow pattern paper I had in my stash, cut a slit along the "W" and slipped it inside.  The clouds are from the Hot Air Balloon club die set.

and last, for today, is the word Believe, which I didn't use in an "uplifting way", but it made me think of the magic of Christmas, so... I stamped it in silver, added a fun little santa hat which is from the Penguins4Christmas stamp set.  The snowflake is from Stamps2build which is one of my fave little stamp sets to have/use.

Friends Forever

Sizzix Friends Forever step up die! NEW at The Stamps of Life!  so fun!   

I also used the Bee Triplits dies on this card.

Did you know TSOL is selling paper pads!?   Yep!  It's amazing thick, double sided cardstock like pattern paper.  Check it out!  :)

and I used little stamps from TSOL stamp2build.

It's time for the February stamp of the month at The Stamps of Life.   This set is so cute!  I just love that kitty!  And kitty sayings :) 

 For this card I used the Sizzix basic step up card die.  I clear embossed on the cat food to give it a nice wet canned cat food look. mmmm.  haha  ;)  Papers are TSOL.

Here I stamped and colored my own background.

The die set has all the fun dies for the paws and fish and cat, but also these cute little tiny paws.  It cuts out the pad and embosses the toes or if you use a paper piercer, you can poke out the toes (I actually didn't realize that until I just watched Stephanie's video ;) ).  It also fit/worked perfectly paired up with the rectangular die from the TSOL tic tac toe die set. 

The Sizzix Regal stand up card die set was used for this card.

I used a light blue ink pad to stamp the top part of the black cardstock.  I also went over the fish with a wink of stella brush for a little pretty shimmer.  :)

Hello Friend, you're tweet!

 Happy Friday!  Today I have three cards to share with you using the Sizzix framelits die set:  birds and tree.  It's so cute, and fun to create your own little tree any way you like it.

 This first card I used the Sizzix XL square stand up die.  Adorable way to say hi to a friend, right?  :)

I used dies from the TSOL Hot Air Balloon Die set (clouds and and sun).  I cut the convo shape from the card front to make a little window card.  :)

Again.  So simple, but those birds are adorable!  :)

SWEET!

 Know what's sweet about the Sizzix framelit stand up Elegant card die set?  It comes with the word and shadow "sweet".  :)  Know what else is sweet?  Yep!  Strawberries!  On this card I used the TSOL Strawberries2stamp stamp and matching dies.  :)

Flowers and Vase.............

Hello and Happy Friday!  I'm here today to share with you some cards I created using the Sizzix Framelits die set (stamps and dies!) by Stephanie Barnard called Flowers & Vase.  I love this set!

 For this first card I also used Regal framelits dies, and the Morechalksayings2stamp stamp/die. all layered with pop dots for dimension. 

And for this card, I used a Sizzix embossing folder ornate #2, a cute little tag from the triplits gift set.

This CAS card was super fast and easy with a little addition of glitter, pearls and ribbon...

and lastly....  I used the sizzix scallop circle framelit on this card, too.  :)

All quick and easy cards:  stamp, die cut, add a little color (copic markers is what I used).  Thanks for stopping by.  Have a happy weekend!  :)

frame it!

released new today at The Stamps of Life......... photo frame die!    which is super fun, especially with the recent release of the camera set and film strip die.  (also released is a beautiful "love" word die, too).  I'll share with you today what I created using the photo frame die:

 I framed a scene using one of my most favorite TSOL stamp/die sets:  hot4balloons.  It's all assembled on a Sizzix xl square stand up card die.

Here is a 6x6 scrapbook lo from my sweet Murphy's 11th birthday.  He's sooo cute :)  I used TSOL patterned paper, candles4birthdays stamp/die set, balloons2cut stamp/die set, and celebrate word/shadow die set. 

and lastly.... a cute warm wishes card using the photo frame die framing a cute snowman using the Snowman2build stamp set. 

Playful, again! :)

I'm back with some more Playful cards!  The Sizzix Playful flip it, along with TSOL Spinner4birthdays stamps, and the happy birthday die is from the Sizzix Regal stand up die set.

with The Stamps of Life!  Three new products were released today! 

I have a few cards to share with you using this set, but for today I'm showing one card per new set.  This set is:  The Playful flip it card die set.

I created a glitter window for this middle section using clear contact paper.  I added a little heart die cut and some glitter and sandwiched it together.  :)

Next up is a card using the Playful stand up card die set:

Playful stamps and dies set!    I used the border die from the Playful flip it set and the stamps (and die!) from the Playful stamps and die set.  If you use adhesive backing it's quick and easy!  :)
