frame it!

released new today at The Stamps of Life......... photo frame die!    which is super fun, especially with the recent release of the camera set and film strip die.  (also released is a beautiful "love" word die, too).  I'll share with you today what I created using the photo frame die:

I framed a scene using one of my most favorite TSOL stamp/die sets:  hot4balloons.  It's all assembled on a Sizzix xl square stand up card die.
Here is a 6x6 scrapbook lo from my sweet Murphy's 11th birthday.  He's sooo cute :)  I used TSOL patterned paper, candles4birthdays stamp/die set, balloons2cut stamp/die set, and celebrate word/shadow die set.
and lastly.... a cute warm wishes card using the photo frame die framing a cute snowman using the Snowman2build stamp set.

Get PLAYFUL!

with The Stamps of Life!  Three new products were released today!

I have a few cards to share with you using this set, but for today I'm showing one card per new set.  This set is:  The Playful flip it card die set.

I created a glitter window for this middle section using clear contact paper.  I added a little heart die cut and some glitter and sandwiched it together.  :)

Next up is a card using the Playful stand up card die set:
I also used sizzix framelits heart #2 die set as well as TSOL embellishments and stamp from the next set I'm about to share with you...

Playful stamps and dies set!    I used the border die from the Playful flip it set and the stamps (and die!) from the Playful stamps and die set.  If you use adhesive backing it's quick and easy!  :)

Life is like a....

CAMERA!   I loooove this set! Camera2stamp. You'll see lots of cards from me with this set for sure, I bet.  This is the January The Stamps of Life stamp and die set.  Cute, right?  Here I used the stamps/dies along with a triplit framlit flipit.
This card was created on the Sizzix XL circle stand up. and I used the morechalksayings2stamp banner stamp with it's coordinating die.
closed....
AND there's also, sold separately, a filmstrip die!
It goes great with the new camera2stamp set, of course!  I also added cute little stamps from the stamp2build set.  I was trying to add every day life things..
Here I tried to create a realistic filmstrip by using alcohol ink on glossy cardstock.
and for this one, I just used it as a border.  I took out the middles, put them together and stamped and colored (using sea2flower stamp set) and then put them back in.  :)
Go on over to The Stamps of Life and watch the video and check out the gallery.... if you're not a member, you're going to want to order this set (and/or join!).  :)  HAPPY NEW YEAR!  May your year be filled with "kodak moments" :)

You warm my heart!

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!  We drove to Northern California where all our family is located for a very quick visit, but it was nice to see parents and grandparents.

I forgot how cold it can be up North and windy.... brrrr!  Today I'm sharing with you some cards with warm wishes.  I used the Sizzix Framelits die set with stamps by Stephanie Barnard.

This card was created also using the Sizzix XL circle card die, and the Sizzix scallop circle framelits.
This card is a flipit, which are always fun:  Elegant flip it.
Shaped cards are cool, right?  The stamp/die set comes with this large teapot die, which makes a super cute shaped card, if you like. :) Again, I used the scalloped framelit.
I just love this set.  :)

Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Yay!  Today is the day for the Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog hop!  The last one was so much fun.  Great ideas from coffee loving crafters with so many fun coffee theme images.  I love all things coffee! Come play!  A lot of us are offering blog candy (like me!  see below!) and there are lots of amazing companies offering generous prizes, too!  Create a hot beverage theme card or project and link it up on Amy's blog:  HERE.  The linky will remain open through Friday, December 12th @ 11:55 pm pacific.

Okay!  So here is what I created for this event:  apparently these have been popular for a while.  Where have I been?!  I just discovered them!  They are so darn cute!  I decorated mine using some pretty papers I got on sale at Joann's.  I created a sparkly ornament using Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard's ornament triplits die cut set.   I also used a The Stamps of Life coffee cup stamp from a set called coffee4two for the inside of the ornament.  I stamped warm wishes on the stick using a sentiment from TSOL, and lastly I added a few snowflake punches with bling.  It's filled with candy and I plan to give it to one of my ds' teachers with a starbucks gc for Christmas. :)  Photos are front and back:
AND NOW.....  my BLOG CANDY!!
My candy has to be coffee theme!  ;)  Have you heard of Fresh Brewed Designs? The owner and artist is a wonderful coffee loving friend of mine, and she offers digital stamps AND rubber stamps (deeply etched high quality rubber)!  This one could be yours if your name is chosen.  To win it, leave me a comment with your contact information so that I can notify you).  That's it.  I will use random . org to choose the lucky winner.  :)
Here's one of the cards I've made using this stamp (mine, not the one above- it's NEW, never been inked!)

Word stamps on this card are by Joy's Life.

TGIF!  I thought I'd drop by and leave this card to share.  Facebook friends and family are starting to post snow pictures!  It was like 72 here yesterday and will be about the same today.  I'm freezing!  HA.  The heater is on...   ;)

For this card I used The Stamps of Life stamp and die set called snowman2build as well as TSOL little snowflake from the stamp2build set. The little coffee cup is from coffee4two.  All assembled on the Sizzix Big XL circle stand up card die.
closed....

TSOL November stamp club release! :)

Hey there!   The Stamps of Life stamp club and die hard club stamps and dies are on their way to the members.  Here are a couple of cards I created using both:

This is a hidden panel card using the square framelit flip it card die, and you can learn how to create your own by watching Stephanie's video here on you tube.

Instead of using pattern paper for this card, I used the stamps to create my own.
Inside of the card: I used the notebook edge die to create my little pad of paper.
For the 2nd card, stamped and die cut the x's and o's to fill the glassine envelope......
which then can be used to play actual games of tic tac toe on the inside of the card. :)
Fun set, right?   Go on over and check out the gallery for more ideas by The Stamps of Life DT.
