1st Communion card

I made this card last month for a friend's daughter's 1st Communion. 

 

I found and bought 3 packs of these DCWV gate fold cards with vellum envelopes at the 99 cent store.  They were in a totally random spot, but score for me. ;)  The glitter paper and congratulation stamp is SU and (congrats) is embossed with pewter embossing powder.

Sun your buns!

It's my DT feature day at Fresh Brewed Designs, and I chose to use the rubber stamp Beach Bums.

I got some paper from the Bo Bunny Key Lime collection and as soon as I saw this tag on the sheet, I knew I was going to get out my FBD Beach Bums rubber stamp to use with it.....  :)  Here's my card:

I used core'dinations cardstock and sanded/tore it.  I also used a background rubber stamp by A|S and embossed it with white puffy embossing powder.

new FBD digi release today!

It's Monday..  in June...  that means a new Fresh Brewed Designs digi!  Her name is bikini kim.

Here's the card I created using bikini kim with some designer paper and sticker(s), along with a A|S stamp "a warm hello".

End of the school year AND my dad, his wife, and my grandma came for a short, but sweet and fun visit, so I haven't had time to create and fell behind on a post or two.

New FBD challenge!

New month long prize card challenge at Fresh Brewed Designs- starts today!

THE CHALLENGE FOR JUNE:

MERMAIDS,  FAIRIES, FANTASY (clean please!!!)

PLUS an optional BOX CARD TECHNIQUE  at Splitcoast Stampers

I ran running and screaming when I saw the box technique. lol!  So I took the easy way out and only created a mermaid theme card.  This is the beautiful Cordelia in the Sand Rubber stamp- my very first FBD rubber stamp and is a favorite.  Waves and crab are a|s.  The yellow background mesh was packaging from some baseballs my ds got in his Easter basket.  It looks better IRL ;)

My card using an amazing beach scene digi from digidarla:

The little sand dollar stamps are A|S and stamped with versamark ink and then brushed with mica powder (although you can not see that here). The wave has liquid applique and glitter.  :)
