Here is the card I created today using this fun set:

To separate the words from the "you are so sweet" sentiment, I inked each word individually, and then used a circle punch and a heart punch to punch them out.

Our school celebrated Teacher/Staff appreciation week this week.  The wonderful nice lady who works in our office who also doubles as the school nurse has help my ds over the last 3 years with bee stings, scrapes, etc. and so we decided to show our appreciation with a card and gc to Starbucks. :)  I created this window card, quick and easy, using actual first aid supplies.  I used staz on black ink to stamp (SU!) thank you on to the band aid and then let it air dry. 

Mojo Monday and TAWS

Yep, I'm still on a roll with challenges. (btw, I read this a.m. that I am a winner at {PIN}spirational Challenges.  woo hoo!).... It helps that ds and I have been sick and stuck at home resting up.  Anyway..........  I created a card last night to link up to two challenges.  It's not often I create a card for more than one challenge at a time...   I used the Mojo Monday 280 sketch:

 

and my card was created for The Alley Way Stamps challenge 21, although I have to admit that the photo didn't inspire it so much, BUT it IS a Valentine for my ds and he's going to love it.  Here's my card:

Cross My Heart

It has been sooooo long since I've created a card for a Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger. I've missed it. Here is the Tuesday Trigger photo, which I absolutely LOVE:

I was so excited to seeing the crackled chair in the photo, because I have crackle paint!  Ah yes, but along with it and all the paints I bought many years ago was all dried up.  :(  Then the heart in the photo reminded me that I have magic mesh still (that was so popular many years ago)! Although, I ended up just using a tiny piece on that little heart....  Longer story short, this card didn't turn out at all like my originally inspired ideas, but I like it.  The pocket stamps are CTMH and the little just for you stamp is SU!

I think January must have been left on fast forward, because I can't believe it's February already!  It's now time for a new month long challenge at Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge Blog.  The challenge:  dots and hearts....

white pages...

We regularly still get phonebooks and white pages delivered to our house, and I stash them away even though we haven't used them in years due to Internet access........ seems like such a waste, since I know we aren't the only ones.  Anyhow... a friend posted a little project she was working on to facebook recently:  a wreath made of rolled white pages.  I loved it.  I'm not very crafty, however, so I just took the inspiration from her project and created a card using a couple of white page pages. :)

 

The card is cored'inations cardstock that I sanded and tore.....   TFL!
