Cross My Heart

It has been sooooo long since I've created a card for a Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger. I've missed it. Here is the Tuesday Trigger photo, which I absolutely LOVE:

I was so excited to seeing the crackled chair in the photo, because I have crackle paint!  Ah yes, but along with it and all the paints I bought many years ago was all dried up.  :(  Then the heart in the photo reminded me that I have magic mesh still (that was so popular many years ago)! Although, I ended up just using a tiny piece on that little heart....  Longer story short, this card didn't turn out at all like my originally inspired ideas, but I like it.  The pocket stamps are CTMH and the little just for you stamp is SU!

I think January must have been left on fast forward, because I can't believe it's February already!  It's now time for a new month long challenge at Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge Blog.  The challenge:  dots and hearts....

white pages...

We regularly still get phonebooks and white pages delivered to our house, and I stash them away even though we haven't used them in years due to Internet access........ seems like such a waste, since I know we aren't the only ones.  Anyhow... a friend posted a little project she was working on to facebook recently:  a wreath made of rolled white pages.  I loved it.  I'm not very crafty, however, so I just took the inspiration from her project and created a card using a couple of white page pages. :)

 

The card is cored'inations cardstock that I sanded and tore.....   TFL!

Caffeine Crazy Challenge #1

With a new year, brought new fresh ideas for Fresh Brewed Designs.  If you didn't know, there is no longer a weekly challenge, only a monthly prize challenge; however, on the 5th Wednesday of the month there will be a CAFFEINE CRAZY CHALLENGE which is a challenge at FBD where you only have 24 hours to participate.  Fun, right?  I think so!  The challenge for #1 is.... use a FBD image and the color red.  Hurry!  Join in on the fun!

Guess what?  Fun new Valentine/Love digis at Fresh Brewed Designs.  :)

I created a card using one the new digis called You've Captured My Heart.  I seriously hate spiders, but I just looooooooooove this little guy, and printed him out to create this card as soon as Heather sent it to me. 

I used Core'dnations cardstock, embossed with a SU! web folder and then lightly sanded to let the red show.  Cool, huh?  I colored the cute little spider with Copics and added a bit of dimensional glaze to the hearts.

Cupcake Inspirations 195

Hey there!  A day late, but our computer is dead and we had to buy a new one.  I just hope, so please cross your fingers for me, that they can save my unsaved photos and digis.  I know, I know... I should haven't gotten behind in backing them up.... and truthfully, I don't think I've ever saved all my digis to disc and I have A LOT.  Ugh.  Anyway.... enough on my stupidity, I'm here to share the current Cupcake Inspiration Challenge 195 with you:

Valentine treats (ctmh)

A scrappy and all around crafty friend sent me a ctmh whooo's your valentine treat kit, and I had so much fun making them! The stamp set alone is super cute! Those added with stuff from my stash, and here are 6 Valentine treats ready to give out. I made one specifically for my ds' teacher, but otherwise, not sure who will be passing these out to yet. :)
