new fbd digis

New digis have been added at Fresh Brewed Designs. 

Here's a card I creating using one of them.  I just love this digi and if you click on over to the FBD challenge blog, you will see so many lovely and different uses/coloring of it.  I had a lot of fun creating this card. It had been a while since I did distressing work.   After I printed the digi, I colored it with Copics, chalk and pencils.  Then I sprayed it all over with gold tattered angels mist and then I crumpled it in a ball and repeated until I got the desired look I wanted.  After that I rubbed with my finger, gold ink to get all the grooves of the crease marks.  THEN when it was completely dry, I used a versamark pad and dabbed it all over and embossed the entire thing with clear embossing powder (wish you could tell in the photo...). 

I sanded some Core'dinations cardstock, added a ribbon and pin I made and viola- a mother's day card to give out.  :)  Thanks for dropping by!

Over at the Fresh Brewed Designs Blog, it's my scheduled DT feature day...... This is the card I created using the Work it Work out Girl rubber stamp.  And funny that it posted today, because I have been a big slacker with exercising. I run, but haven't been doing anything else... However, I've been working my arms the last three days and today I was near tears during my Costco run lifting all those heavy items, because my arms are SOOO SORE (and abs, too)!  hahahaha!  pathetic. I also just started a squat challenge that was posted on facebook, so tomorrow I probably won't be able to move at all.  ;)   BUT...  gotta get to it, it's almost pool/beach time.  ack!

The sweet girl image is a precolored digi (because, no, I didn't get awesome at coloring over night. I wish! lol), but the cute little birdie images, I colored, cut out and placed on the card as well. Oh and a little bit of glitter in just the right places.  ;)  The happy birthday stamp is SU.
